What is The L.A.B.?

The L.A.B. stands for Lead • Apply • Build.
It's a safe space where teens learn practical skills, financial literacy, teamwork, and leadership through real-world projects and experiences.”

At The L.A.B., teens don’t just sit and listen—they learn by doing. Each session gives them real experiences: from building financial confidence and debating real-world topics to learning how to change a tire, create a brand, or launch a small project and business. Every activity helps them discover their voice, sharpen their mindset, and step into leadership with confidence.

The L.A.B. isn’t a curriculum or tutoring program—it’s real-life learning that teens rarely get in school. We teach the skills that make life work: practical living skills like cooking real meals, managing your space, and understanding kitchen safety; car basics (how to change a tire, check oil, and monitor tire pressure); money mastery (budgeting, banking, credit habits); entrepreneurship (branding, simple business planning, selling); plus communication, leadership, and service. It’s hands-on, group-based, and built to grow confidence every single week.
